Description

You will translate high-level network designs into detailed engineering plans, configurations, and automation scripts for virtualized and cloud-native core network functions. You own the lifecycle of network services, from PoCs and trials to operational support and incident resolution.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network automation solutions using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and Bash.
• Deploy and manage VNFs and CNFs on platforms like KVM, VMware, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues involving BGP, IGP, and firewalls, collaborating with vendors and internal teams.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, including MOPs, configuration guides, and topology diagrams using Visio or Lucid.
• Support network trials, proof-of-concepts, and multicloud environments (public and private).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or automation.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, YAML, JSON, and XML.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, KVM, and VMware.
• Solid understanding of network protocols (BGP, IGP, TCP/IP, OSI Model) and storage protocols (SAN, NAS).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Linux systems administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cisco UCS platforms.
• Familiarity with network hardening, security compliance, and cybersecurity frameworks.
