Network Automation Engineer

You will be responsible for automating and managing network infrastructure using scripting and configuration management tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network automation solutions using Python and Ansible.
• Develop infrastructure-based scripts and manage configurations using YAML and JSON.
• Integrate network tooling into CI/CD pipelines and utilize REST APIs for interaction.
• Apply automation design patterns while adhering to established security controls.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in network infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency with Ansible and Python scripting.
• Strong understanding of YAML and JSON data formats.
• Experience with REST APIs and network protocols like VXLAN and BGP.
• Familiarity with Git for version control.
• Experience with CI/CD practices (Jenkins/GitLab).
• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with network devices, specifically Arista switches.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a global team.
