You will design, develop, and maintain the network automation toolset.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automation tools using Python and legacy Perl scripts for asset discovery and reporting.
• Enhance existing scripts to optimize workflows and integrate new technologies into network change management.
• Translate operational requirements into effective automation solutions and perform tooling audits for coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver network automation solutions.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of relevant experience in network automation and scripting.
• Proficiency in Python for designing and developing applications.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, ACLs, VLANs, routing).
• Hands-on experience with Ansible Tower or Ansible Automation Platform for playbook management.
• In-depth knowledge of RESTful API principles, including HTTP methods and authentication.
• Experience with Git (BitBucket/GitHub) and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Experience with database management systems like MongoDB.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Flask or Django for building APIs.
• Relevant certifications in Networking (CCNA/CCNP) or RedHat Ansible.
