Description

You will build and maintain automated, version-controlled network provisioning and operational workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy GitOps workflows with pre-commit hooks and automated rollback mechanisms.
• Drive declarative provisioning by integrating source-of-truth systems like NetBox with automation pipelines.
• Integrate change control processes by interfacing with ServiceNow or Jira APIs for automated ticket gating.
• Embed compliance baselines and policy-as-code into CI/CD pipelines to ensure auditability.
• Develop modular automation using Python and Ansible to manage network state across distributed environments.

Required Skills

• 8–12 years in network engineering and automation, with 3+ years focused on controller-driven orchestration and IaC deployments.
• Proficiency in Python, Ansible, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD for building automation pipelines.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, NETCONF/YANG, and gRPC for device and controller interaction.
• Expertise in data modeling using JSON, YAML, and XML, including Jinja2 templating.
• Proven ability to build and scale automation pipelines across multi-branch or distributed environments.
• Experience integrating with configuration management systems like Cisco DNAC, Cisco NSO, or vManage.
• Familiarity with state management systems like NetBox or Nautobot.
• Experience integrating automation with ITSM tools like ServiceNow.

Preferred Skills

• Strong scripting and API integration skills focused on idempotency and error handling.
