Description

You will design, deploy, and maintain network automation frameworks to streamline operations and secure network infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation processes, frameworks, and reporting tools following industry best practices.
• Design and deploy project solutions, including configuration standardization and hardware/software evaluations.
• Identify vulnerabilities and execute mitigation plans to secure data, control, and management planes.
• Lead switch-related projects and serve as the escalation point for junior network engineers.
• Maintain network design, IP allocation, and comprehensive project documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of network engineering experience, including 4 years at CCNP level.
• 2 years of hands-on experience implementing network automation.
• 3 years of experience deploying advanced-level projects and solutions.
• Proficiency with Python and automation tools like Ansible, Nornir, Git, and CI/CD.
• Deep knowledge of routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VRF, and HSRP.
• Experience with Cisco IOS, Cisco NX-OS, and SD-WAN products.
• Strong understanding of switching, firewalls, and wireless technologies (802.11).
• Expertise in tunneling/VPN protocols including IPSec, GRE, and DMVPN.
• Competency with NETCONF/RESTCONF, YANG models, Containers, and Nautobot/Netbox.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco DevNet certifications or CCNP.
• Experience with Linux OS, Load Balancers, Splunk, ServiceNow, GitLab, and LogicMonitor.
