You will design, develop, and implement network automation solutions to streamline operations and ensure scalability.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network automation solutions using Python to manage configurations and monitoring.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to provision network devices, ensuring consistency and scalability.
• Develop and maintain the automation framework, including testing and deployment pipelines.
• Implement automated network monitoring and use data analytics to resolve performance issues proactively.
• Collaborate with networking, security, and DevOps teams to integrate automation initiatives.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 1 year in network automation.
• Proficiency in network protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience with network devices and operating systems (e.g., Cisco IOS, NX-OS).
• Scripting proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with network automation tools like Ansible and Puppet.
• Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with network security integration.
