Description

You will design, customize, and deploy network management tools to support monitoring and data acquisition for large-scale global deployments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python scripts to collect and process network data using REST APIs, network protocols, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Configure Cisco and Arista network devices and validate health and performance data collection.
• Administer and support enterprise-level RedHat Linux servers and system-related monitoring applications.
• Build NMS tool integrations and automation for tool administration and runbooks.
• Analyze network packet captures and flow technologies including NetFlow and sFlow.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mission-critical network environments.
• In-depth knowledge of SNMP (v1/2c/3) and SNMP MIBs.
• Proficiency with BGP, OSPF, and 802.1x security protocols.
• Experience with enterprise services including Syslog, NTP, DNS, AAA, LDAP, CDP, and LLDP.
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and voice devices.
• Ability to use analytical tools such as Splunk, ELK, and Grafana.
• Working knowledge of databases and data extraction.
• Experience with orchestration, alert, incident, and capacity management products.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Broadcom DX Spectrum and IBM SevOne vendor products.
