Description

Design, engineer, and implement voice and video communication systems within large-scale UCCE Contact Center environments. Manage hardware lifecycles including UCS migrations, NetApp storage refreshes, and VMware upgrades. Execute CUCM security mitigations, certificate upgrades, and firmware updates for 802.1x compliance. Validate wiring between FI, UCS chassis, and core switches while configuring hardware per Cisco compatibility matrices. Produce design documentation and transfer knowledge to government and contractor workforces.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement voice and video communication systems in UCCE environments.
• Manage hardware lifecycles including UCS migrations, NetApp refreshes, and VMware upgrades.
• Execute CUCM security vulnerability mitigations and certificate upgrades.
• Implement Federal IPv6 mandates and plan firmware upgrades for 802.1x support.
• Produce engineering documentation and provide knowledge transfer to teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Cisco Voice and Collaboration technologies.
• CCIE certification in Collaboration or Voice is required.
• Expert-level knowledge of CUCM, CUBE SBC, CER, and UCS.
• Proficiency with VMware, NetApp, and CAPF certificates.
• Experience with Cisco routing and switching in a VoIP environment.
• Knowledge of 802.1x implementation on Cisco calling infrastructure.
• Ability to use scripting for automation and CUBE SBC operations.
• Must be a US Citizen capable of obtaining IRS background investigation approval.

Preferred Skills

• CCIE in Data Center or Route/Switch.
• Experience with PCA, Collab AA, and NetApp.
