Description

You will administer network data and infrastructure for a global enterprise. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Operate network infrastructure across traditional Datacenter and Cloud (Azure/AWS) environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems across service, application, and network hardware/software.
• Maintain and manage network configurations using Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Aruba, and SDWAN technologies.
• Apply Layer 2, Layer 3, and Layer 7 load balancing methodologies to ensure system availability.
• Utilize monitoring and packet capture tools to diagnose network performance issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on network operations experience in a large enterprise (5,000-50,000 users).
• Strong background in routing/switching, datacenter infrastructure, and protocols like TCP/IP and IPv6.
• In-depth knowledge of Layer 2/3 concepts, STP, Ether-Channel (LACP, MC-LAG), and Virtual Chassis.
• Expertise with routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, MBGP, and VXLAN.
• Experience with Datacenter Spine/Leaf architectures (e.g., Cisco ACI or Arista).
• Proficiency with Cisco IOS/NX-OS/ASA-OS, JunOS, ArubaOS, and Arista.
• Solid knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Solarwinds Orion NCM/NPM, Wireshark, Gigamon, Netscout, Cisco DNA).
• Familiarity with SDWAN infrastructure, such as Silverpeak.
