Description

You will manage and maintain network engineering and datacenter networking infrastructure for the Irvine, CA office.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Cisco Nexus, Catalyst switches, and ISR/ASR routers.
• Install and manage Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet, and Sophos firewalls.
• Administer log and monitoring aggregation tools including Armis, Splunk, SolarWinds, PRTG, and Wireshark.
• Implement secure access solutions using NAC/AAA and Cisco ISE.
• Travel to remote sites to rack, stack, and install network equipment for M&A projects and IT initiatives.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, Telecommunications, or Information Systems.
• 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering and Datacenter Networking.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst series switches, and ISR/ASR routers.
• 5+ years of experience installing and configuring Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet, and Sophos firewalls.
• 3+ years of experience with Armis, Splunk, SolarWinds, PRTG, or Wireshark.
• Deep knowledge of Cisco AnyConnect VPN, Site to Site VPN, and Palo Alto Networks VPN.
• Proficiency with routing protocols including EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Hands-on experience with High Availability (HA), QoS, Cisco SD-WAN, and Cisco ACI.
• Cisco CCNP and PCNSE certifications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience troubleshooting Cisco WiFi, Cisco VOIP, and Multicast.
