Network Data Center Consultant

You will design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure within data center and enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot data center core and edge routing and switching platforms across LAN/WAN/MAN.
• Configure and maintain network security devices, including ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto, and Check Point.
• Develop network solutions utilizing SD WAN/MPLS, incorporating technologies like Viptela, VeloCloud, and FortiGate.
• Troubleshoot and optimize network performance using advanced routing protocols and TCP/IP standards.
• Provide technical leadership and drive solutions across various business units and application teams.

Required Skills

• 15+ years total experience in the Information Technology industry.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a network consultant.
• Expert-level knowledge of routing protocols including BGP and OSPF.
• Extensive experience with Cisco/Nexus, Juniper, and Arista routing/switching platforms.
• Expert knowledge of TCP/IP design, subnetting, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in scripting using Python.
• Experience with network security concepts including Zero Trust and Private Access.
• Familiarity with data center service platforms such as F5 and ACI.
• Understanding of Layer 2 networking concepts (VLANs, Spanning Tree).
