Description

You will manage and troubleshoot complex network and IT estates in a 24/7 environment. You will execute in-depth technical activities, provide architectural recommendations, and resolve escalated issues including P1 bridges. You will perform advanced troubleshooting using packet capture and log analysis, manage complex change processes, and maintain accurate ticket records. You will contribute to knowledge sharing through documentation and team meetings.

Responsibilities

• Resolve escalated issues and major incidents, including handling P1 bridges.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting using packet capture and log analysis.
• Manage complex change management processes and maintain accurate ticket records.
• Provide guidance and architectural recommendations for network estates.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing through documentation and team meetings.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Advanced configuration and troubleshooting of RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS, and BGP.
• Deep understanding of gateway redundancy protocols including HSRP, VRRP, and GLBP.
• Hands-on experience with VPN technologies, including GRE, IPsec, site-to-site, and DMVPN.
• Proficiency with routers, switches, firewalls, and WAPs from Cisco, Aruba, and HP.
• Experience troubleshooting LAN, wireless (WLC), MPLS, and Frame Relay.
• Experience using ITSM tools such as Remedy or ServiceNow.
• Proven ability to meet ticket SLAs, KPIs, and perform circuit testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with network monitoring tools and service management workflows.
