Description

You will provide Level 3 support for mission-critical campus and wide area network services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support network hardware including switches, routers, load balancers, wireless access points, firewalls, and WAN accelerators.
• Maintain and optimize Cisco and Palo Alto infrastructure through daily operational maintenance and risk assessments.
• Manage incident resolution, triage, break/fix procedures, and communicate business impact to customers during escalations.
• Execute network changes following IT change control best practices and improve metrics collection and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for deployed solutions and internal workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience provisioning and troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity technologies.
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Proficiency with dynamic routing and network protocols: BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, VRF, QoS, HSRP, IPSLA, IPSec, SNMP, RADIUS, and TACACS.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
• Cisco CCNP or equivalent professional level certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with network automation, scripting, and programmability.
