Description

You will provide expert-level hands-on support for an enterprise-wide data communications network. You own the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of network infrastructure to ensure stability and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support network and security products, including Cisco ASA firewalls and Checkpoint Gaia.
• Manage network device configurations and perform IOS upgrades across the enterprise environment.
• Analyze network traffic to assist with studies and forecast reports, recommending hardware reconfigurations or upgrades.
• Implement long-term fixes to reduce recurring issues and recommend configuration modifications to improve network value.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Cisco Routing: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, MPBGP, and Multicast.
• Cisco Switching: STP, VTP, HSRP, VRRP, VLAN, Trunk, Port-channel, and Loop Prevention.
• Cisco Nexus Switches: vPC, VDC, M card, F card, and upgrades.
• Checkpoint Gaia: MDS, URL Filtering/Application, HTTPS Inspection, Policy, and Traffic Analysis.
• Cisco ASA Firewall: VPN, IPSEC, ACL Filtration, and NAT.
• Degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco Stealthwatch for NetFlow traffic analysis.
• VMware NSX firewall management.
• Infoblox, SolarWinds (NPM, NCM, UDT), and Microsoft Visio.
