Description

You will manage and upgrade enterprise network infrastructure, handling incident resolution and 24/7 on-call support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead network infrastructure upgrade projects, updating Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto devices to Gold Standard versions.
• Manage and upgrade substation power grid Cisco rugged switches and routers supporting critical energy operations.
• Develop detailed project plans for network upgrades and infrastructure maintenance.
• Respond to and resolve incident tickets during business hours, ensuring timely restoration of network services.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for urgent network issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching platforms (IOS upgrades, core/access layer architecture).
• Proficiency with network automation tools, specifically Ansible, for configuration management.
• Strong understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and Layer 2 technologies (VLANs, STP).
• Proven experience upgrading Arista and Palo Alto network equipment and configurations.
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies and centralized management platforms.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools including NetScout, Cisco DNAC, NetFlow, and SNMP.
• CCNP certification.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to manage incident and problem tickets with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Solid understanding of firewall policy management.
