Description

You will troubleshoot and maintain enterprise routing and switching networks, ensuring stability and performance across critical infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain enterprise routing and switching networks, including dynamic routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Configure and troubleshoot VRF-based segmentation and validate routing behavior across VRF environments.
• Manage Layer 2 loop prevention and redundancy using STP, RSTP, MSTP, HSRP, VRRP, and GLBP.
• Support IP address management and network services including DHCP troubleshooting and validation.
• Perform network hardware upgrade and replacement activities for routers and switches, and support operational readiness during incidents.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of hands-on enterprise networking experience.
• Strong understanding of routing and switching fundamentals with proven troubleshooting capability.
• Proficiency in dynamic routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and VRF.
• Expertise in Layer 2 and gateway redundancy: STP, RSTP, MSTP, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP.
• Experience with IP services, specifically DHCP configuration and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, HP, or Aruba hardware and software.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Nexus switching, VPC, VDC, and OTV.
• Exposure to wireless technology, including wireless controllers and access points.
