Description

You will own the operation and enhancement of the LAN/WAN infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LAN/WAN network operations using routing and switching protocols.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution for complex network incidents.
• Implement and optimize network policies and security protocols using firewalls.
• Drive process innovation by automating network operations using Ansible and Python.
• Develop and maintain detailed network documentation and performance dashboards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in LAN/WAN environments.
• Advanced expertise in Cisco and Juniper network devices and protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs).
• Strong command of network monitoring tools, including SolarWinds and Wireshark.
• Advanced knowledge of network security, including Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewall configuration.
• Proficiency in automation scripting using Python and Ansible.
• Experience with SNMP and VPN technologies.
• Ability to translate business requirements into actionable network solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VxLAN.
