Description

You will design carrier-grade network solutions for service provider projects, owning the technical architecture and documentation lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design carrier-grade network solutions that comply with established design standards.
• Produce technical documentation including High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and technical diagrams.
• Manage project communications by conveying risks, obtaining sign-offs, and providing weekly updates.
• Apply reliability and availability matrices to ensure the longevity and commercial viability of designs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working within a Service Provider environment.
• Hands-on experience with Nokia 7750 and distributed hardware architecture.
• Deep technical knowledge of ISIS, MPLS, RSVP, TE, Hierarchical QoS, LACP, and BGP.
• Fortinet NSE4 certification with hands-on experience in FortiGate firewalls, FortiAnalyser, and FortiManager.
• Proficiency in configuring firewall policies, address objects, NAT, interfaces, zones, and dynamic routing.
• Strong understanding of firewall architecture and security implementations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Open-config, NETCONF-YANG models, JSON, and XML for network automation.
• Knowledge of Python and GIT for configuration templates and automation development.
• Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls, F5 LTM/GTM, and 5G technologies.
