Design and implement carrier-grade network solutions, owning the full lifecycle from requirements to release.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Author High Level Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD) documents, including technical diagrams and project artefacts.
• Own software and hardware selection, performing bug scrubs and security vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborate with Test and Delivery engineers to review test plans, defects, test reports, MOPs, and change tickets.
• Drive platform improvements to enable automation and implement solutions that support DevOps capabilities.
• Elicit business and technical requirements from partners and steer network security feature roadmaps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working for a Service Provider.
• Extensive experience with ISIS, BGP, MPLS, L2VPN, L3VPN, RSVP, TE, Hierarchical QOS, LACP, and IPv6.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers (IOS-XE and IOS-XR) and Nokia 7750 distributed hardware architecture.
• Solid grasp of firewall architecture and policies, specifically with Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Deep knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls from various vendors in live environments.
• Proven ability to manage reliability matrices, availability matrices, and the commercial aspects of solutions.
• Strong document writing skills for technical presentations and project engagement.
• CCNA or CCNP certification.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• CCIE certification.
