Description

You will develop embedded software for modem integration and WiFi in inflight connectivity products on Linux.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate 4G/5G modems and related controls into connectivity systems.
• Implement and verify software to control and configure Wireless Access Points.
• Develop interfaces using REST, SSH, SNMP, CLI, and Web UI.
• Lead software task breakdown and mentor junior team members in an agile SCRUM environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience using C/C++ (versions 14 or 17) on Linux.
• 3+ years of experience with networking protocols: TCP, UDP, IP, SNMP, DHCP, and DNS.
• Hands-on experience with socket programming, IPC, and PUB/SUB architecture.
• Deep understanding of 802.11 standards (802.11ac and 802.11ax/WiFi 6/6E).
• Proficiency in integrating 4G/5G cellular network technologies.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and databases (MySQL, MariaDB, or NoSQL).
• Expertise with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with 802.1x authentication protocols (EAP-SIM, EAP-AKA, EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS).
