Description

You will design, test, and integrate network topologies into automation frameworks while providing top-level escalation support for existing installations. You will identify root causes of customer impacts and deliver corrective actions that improve wired network availability and operational efficiency. You will evaluate new technologies, lead pilot deployments, and automate infrastructure testing and lifecycle management. You will work in an Agile/Scrum environment to prototype designs and deliver high-quality solutions against aggressive schedules.

Responsibilities

• Design new network topologies and integrate them into existing automation frameworks.
• Provide top-level escalation support for existing networks and installations.
• Identify root causes of complex customer impacts and develop corrective actions.
• Evaluate new technologies, conduct proof of concepts, and define run books.
• Automate infrastructure testing, deployment, operations, and lifecycle management.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience with major internet routing protocols, particularly BGP.
• 4+ years of experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, Shell, and/or Perl for automation scripting.
• Experience designing distributed networking solutions utilizing L2 and L3 protocols.
• Ability to prototype designs and test them with teammates.
• Familiarity with white box networking platforms.
