Description

You will engineer and maintain cloud network infrastructure across multi-account, multi-region AWS environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage network operations and ticketing tasks using Jira.
• Automate network management and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Monitor connectivity and troubleshoot issues using CloudWatch and VPC Flow Logs.
• Ensure network operations adhere to established audit and compliance policies.
• Configure network security and lead incident response for network-related events.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud networking with mandatory AWS VPC expertise.
• Expert knowledge of IP networking, DNS, TCP/IP, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
• Strong proficiency with core AWS services: VPC, Route 53, ELB/NLB, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPNs, and PrivateLink.
• Experience with IaC for network automation using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and analyzing VPC Flow Logs.
• Experience with Kubernetes networking (EKS/ECS).
• Knowledge of firewall platforms such as Palo Alto, Cisco, or Juniper SRX.

Preferred Skills

• Solutions Architect certification or equivalent AWS architectural experience.
