Description

You will design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure while providing operational support for complex solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise network IT infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Assess existing configurations and recommend improvements based on industry specifications.
• Configure equipment and software to meet operational needs.
• Document solutions and train staff on implemented systems.
• Provide technical support and assist in designing complex network architectures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering or telecommunications.
• Strong background in network administration, including DHCP, DNS, routers, and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with IP subnetting and Telnet/SSH clients.
• Experience with VoIP and MPLS technologies.
• Proficiency with Cisco network software (COS/IOS).
• Experience with network monitoring and administration tools.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, telecommunications, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Texas State Agency network administrator experience.
• Experience with Cisco ASA and Fortinet firewalls.
• Proficiency with SolarWinds, Splunk, protocol analyzers, and Microsoft Visio.
