Description

You will manage and maintain complex network infrastructure and security controls for the campus environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Tier 1-3 network support requests and resolve connection issues between users and resources.
• Design network extensions and connections to the campus network.
• Configure and deploy new or replacement network hardware and communications infrastructure.
• Monitor network resources for faults, traffic anomalies, and security threats.
• Maintain up-to-date architecture documentation, inventory records, and change histories.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Cisco Routing and Switching, VLAN Management, and Network Design.
• 5+ years of experience with Access Control Lists, Subnetting, and VPN & Remote Access Technologies.
• 5+ years of experience with Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.) and Authentication (Radius, TACACS, etc.).
• 3+ years of experience with Cisco FMC/Firepower, Network Monitoring, Network Security, STP, VTP, and Multicast.
• Experience with threat hunting, mitigation, and improving cybersecurity controls.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to teammates and customers of varying expertise.

Preferred Skills

• 2 years of experience with Wireless Technologies.
• 3 years of experience with DNS/DHCP.
