Description

You will own the design, implementation, and support of complex routed IP networks for a large multi-site organization. Your work spans campus LAN, core switching, WAN, and security infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot complex Layer 2/3 IP networks, including Cisco Catalyst 9500/4500/3850/3750 campus switches and Nexus 5K/9K core switches.
• Configure and maintain SD-WAN/IWAN environments, supporting S2S VPNs and remote user connectivity via AnyConnect.
• Administer security appliances including Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto firewalls, IPS, and Security Intelligence.
• Support network security protocols such as Dot1x, Cisco ISE, Tacacs, Umbrella/OpenDNS, and Carbon Black endpoints.
• Utilize monitoring tools like SolarWinds NPM, SAM, IPAM, NCM, and LEM to maintain network health.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of hands-on professional network engineering experience in medium to large organizations (1000+ employees).
• Expertise in IP LAN/WAN principles and multi-site data and VOIP support.
• Proficiency with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switch families for campus and core switching.
• Experience with SD-WAN infrastructure and configuration.
• Knowledge of Cisco Firepower and Palo Alto firewalls, including IPS and Security Intelligence.
• Familiarity with monitoring suites including SolarWinds (NPM, SAM, IPAM, NCM, LEM).
• Understanding of security technologies like Cisco ISE, Tacacs, and endpoint protection.

Preferred Skills

• CCNA or CCNP certification.
