Network Engineer

You will manage and maintain Windows server environments and video management systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows servers, including design, installation, decommissioning, and configuration for on-premises environments.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Monitor server performance, system logs, and resource usage to mitigate security threats and hardware/software failures.
• Execute patch management, log analysis, and regular data backups to ensure system integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
• Maintain inventory, asset configuration documentation, and compliance audits against security policies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in server administration or systems management.
• Proficiency with Windows Server operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory.
• Direct experience with video management systems (VMS) including AXIS, Genetec, AMAG, ProWatch, or MorphoManager.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Ability to perform technical documentation and maintain asset configuration records.
• Experience following formal change control processes and service level requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in security operations.
• Scripting skills for automation.
