Description

You will design, engineer, and troubleshoot enterprise-scale data center networks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design new network topologies, author design documents, and create technical architecture models.
• Develop Bills of Material (BoM), configuration templates, and migration plans.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for operating teams during network outages.
• Collaborate with Security, Enterprise Computing, and End-User technology teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Engage with project managers to develop execution and test plans for network changes.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience designing and implementing large-scale networks within Financial Services, technology vendors, or systems integrators.
• Expertise in IP Routing: OSPF, BGP, MPBGP, and TCP/IP.
• Deep knowledge of Multicast routing: PIM, IGMP, and MSDP.
• Hands-on experience with Ethernet technologies: STP, 802.1Q, VPC, Multilayer Switching, and Leaf-Spine IP Fabric.
• Proficiency with VxLAN.
• Direct experience with Cisco Nexus 9000 Series, ASR 1000x, and ASR 9000 Series.
• Experience with Arista switching platforms and Arista EOS.
• Working knowledge of Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NXOS, and IOS-XR.
• Strong understanding of Network Security Concepts and Multi-tier Security architectures.
• Ability to use Visio for creating and maintaining network diagrams.

Preferred Skills

• CCIE or equivalent certification.
• Automation experience using Python and Ansible.
• Experience with tools such as Wireshark, DNA Center, Infoblox, HPNA, Splunk, Sevone, or Netconf.
