Description

You will provide Level 2 and Level 3 network infrastructure support and lead technical project development for a global environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and support global WAN and LAN across datacenters and remote offices.
• Manage load balancing traffic across server farms using various algorithms and health probes.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and coordinate the delivery of new circuits from telecom providers.
• Mentor junior team members and manage chronic technical problems to closure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Extensive hands-on experience with TCP/IP protocols including TCP, UDP, FTP, GRE, and ESP.
• Proficiency with Cisco firewalls (ASA5500, FWSM, ASA-SM) and switches (3560, 3750, 6500, Nexus 55xx, 7000).
• Operational experience with TACACS+/Radius authentication systems.
• Knowledge of IP telephony and RTP traffic prioritization.
• Experience with Netflow analysis and Netflow collectors.
• Operational knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Scripting ability using bash or perl.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
