Description

You will design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure with a primary focus on Cisco technologies in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

• Plan, configure, and implement Cisco firewall, router, and switch solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Cisco device issues using root cause analysis.
• Manage access control lists (ACLs) and firewall security policies to protect the network.
• Perform routine maintenance, software upgrades, and patch management on network hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to execute network migrations and expansions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco firewall, router, and switch technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS, ASA, and Catalyst platforms.
• Proficiency with routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and STP.
• In-depth understanding of VLANs, VPNs, and ACLs.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows OS and IT infrastructure support.
• Ability to manage user accounts and Microsoft Exchange configurations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience maintaining accurate network documentation, including diagrams and device configurations.
