Description

You will own network design, migrations, and deployments across two data centers, transitioning legacy hardware to modern spine-leaf architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute hardware migrations from legacy Catalyst devices to Nexus 9K spine-leaf architecture.
• Create Method of Procedure (MOP) documents for migrating Layer 3 SVIs and BGP routing configurations.
• Implement new firewall, network, and routing configurations to support jump server environments.
• Configure MDS 9000 SAN switches and deploy dedicated Cisco ISE appliances.
• Execute planned network changes and migrations during approved change windows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of network engineering experience.
• Expertise in Layer 3 routing protocols including BGP and OSPF.
• Proficiency in Layer 2 technologies including Spanning Tree and VPCs.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus 9K spine-leaf architectures.
• Knowledge of migrating configurations from legacy Catalyst switches.
• Experience configuring MDS 9000 SAN switches.
• Ability to deploy Cisco ISE appliances.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
