Description

You will manage and maintain secure, efficient wired and wireless data communications networks within a NOC environment in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure network hardware, software, firewalls, and security protections.
• Deploy and manage Cisco switches and access points.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and develop plans to resolve consistent wireless problems.
• Conduct site surveys and implement continuous network performance testing.
• Collaborate with vendors and network managers on deployment and upgrade management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a network engineer role.
• Hands-on experience with routing, switching, and wireless networking.
• Proficiency with Cisco wireless LAN controllers, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience configuring network devices including access points.
• Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi industry standards and management best practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evening, overnight, weekend, and on-call rotations.
• Valid driver's license.
• Physical ability to lift 40lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent professional experience considered).

Preferred Skills

• Cisco certifications including CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE Wireless.
• CWNA training and certification.
• ITIL certification.
