Description

You will own the operational integrity and maintenance of the network infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage incidents, perform proactive checks, and isolate faults to restore service.
• Develop root cause flow charts and troubleshooting procedures for incident management.
• Complete operational readiness checklists for new network service deployments.
• Execute service requests, support network maintenance, and represent strategic initiatives like Capacity Management.
• Perform routine network analysis and coordinate hot hands with vendors.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent skills in lieu of education.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, Layer 2, and Layer 3 switching inner-workings.
• Experience with routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and Traffic Engineering.
• Working knowledge of network management tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot multicast in a switch/routed network.
• Superior customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to provide weekend and off-hours support.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with capacity management initiatives.
