Description

You will manage and maintain wired and wireless data communications networks within the NOC.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and deploy Cisco switches and access points.
• Troubleshoot network issues to prevent downtime and resolve tickets assigned by the Service Desk.
• Manage firewalls and other network security protections.
• Conduct site surveys and develop plans to address wireless network performance issues.
• Document technical processes, disaster recovery plans, and system maintenance procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a network engineer role.
• Hands-on experience with routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Deep knowledge of Cisco wireless LAN controllers, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with CCNP, CCNA, TCP/IP, DHCP, and Network design.
• Experience managing and monitoring Wi-Fi network infrastructures.
• Ability to perform hardware/software installations and system backups.
• Understanding of ITIL frameworks and change management processes.
• Availability to work evening, overnight, and weekend hours as required.

Preferred Skills

• CWNA training and certification.
