Network Engineer

You will manage and maintain functional network and communication connectivity for all users. You will analyze, plan, test, and implement LAN, WAN, and communications network systems.

Responsibilities

• Detect, isolate, and correct faults within the network infrastructure.
• Manage network device configurations, including file management, inventory, and software updates.
• Perform network modeling, capacity planning, and lab testing for communication applications.
• Monitor network performance and analyze resource usage to support proactive management and future planning.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals, including OSI model, routing, and switching.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS.
• Proficiency in cloud networking environments including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with SD-WAN technologies, specifically Palo Alto or Cloudgenix.
• Working knowledge of wireless technologies and Aruba wireless or Aruba ClearPass.
• Ability to use Python or JSON for scripting and automating network tasks.
• Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic tools like SolarWinds, Aruba Central, Palo Alto Panorama, or Lucidchart.
• Familiarity with access control models and network security.

Preferred Skills

• Professional certifications such as CCNP, SAFe, DevOps, or ITILv4.
• Knowledge of Smartsheet.
• Understanding of generative AI and ML tools.
