Description

You will manage day-to-day network operations and resolve connectivity issues within a diverse enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage network-related tickets within SLA using Service-Now, addressing issues like BGP flapping, network latency, and outages.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, access points, and wireless hardware.
• Monitor network performance and conduct packet analysis, traffic flow troubleshooting, and fault analysis.
• Execute network configuration changes following established change management processes.
• Collaborate with ISP carriers, onsite engineers, and site support to resolve link failures and physical connectivity issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering within an enterprise environment.
• Strong proficiency in Routing and Switching, including SD-WAN.
• Deep understanding of routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, and ISIS.
• Hands-on experience with Layer 2 technologies: STP, RSTP, .1q VLANs, VPC, HSRP, and VRRP.
• Solid knowledge of IP protocols: TCP, UDP, and ICMP.
• Experience with DDI services: DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (Infoblox, QIP, or Linux-based BIND).
• Experience with Cisco IOS and wireless technologies (Cisco and Juniper).
• Competency in IP filtering, firewalling, MPLS, and Quality of Service (QoS).
• Ability to perform hardware troubleshooting and repairs.

Preferred Skills

• Professional certifications such as CCNP, JNCIS-ENT, or JNCIS-SP.
• CCNA certification.
