Description

• Architect, design, define standards, and deploy enterprise network infrastructure solutions.
• Manage and support network application infrastructure including:
  • DHCP
  • DNS
  • IPAM
  • Firewalls
  • Load Balancers
  • Proxy Services
  • Time Protocol Services
  • Cloud-based Networking Services
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available network solutions.
• Maintain Regional Internet Registry (RIR) objects and DNS Registrar databases.
• Assess, plan, design, and implement network infrastructure enhancements and transformations.
• Perform capacity planning, performance optimization, and troubleshooting of network services and infrastructure.
• Monitor network infrastructure health, performance, and availability using observability and monitoring tools.
• Manage source code repositories and infrastructure automation initiatives.
• Develop infrastructure automation solutions using industry-standard DevOps practices.
• Leverage testing environments for proof of concepts, validation, and pre-production testing.
• Participate in on-call support rotations and provide operational support when required.
• Perform root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and promote documentation, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence.
• Support occasional weekend activities related to maintenance, upgrades, and deployments.

Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience

• 5–7+ years of demonstrated experience in enterprise networking and infrastructure engineering.
• Strong expertise in network architecture, network design, and infrastructure standards.
• Proficient understanding of:
  • TCP/IP
  • HTTPS
  • SSL/TLS
  • Internet Architecture
  • Network Traffic Patterns
  • Packet Analysis
• Hands-on experience with enterprise firewall platforms:
  • Check Point
  • Palo Alto
  • Fortinet
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Proxy Solutions
  • IDS/IPS Technologies
  • DDoS Protection Solutions
  • Packet Capture Technologies
• Experience with cloud networking and connectivity solutions in at least one cloud platform:
  • Microsoft Azure
  • AWS
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Knowledge of monitoring, observability tools, protocols, and platforms.
• Experience automating infrastructure using:
  • Python
  • Ansible
  • Terraform
  • GitLab Pipelines
  • DevOps Practices
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with DDI platforms such as Infoblox.
• Experience with F5 Load Balancers and iRules.
• Knowledge of Regional Internet Registries (RIRs) and DNS registrars.
• Experience with:
  • Cloudflare
  • Akamai
  • Infoblox BloxOne
• Experience in financial services or banking industry environments.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Equivalent certifications and relevant industry experience will also be considered
