Description

You will provide technical support, installation, and maintenance for medium to large scale network infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Implement medium to large scale infrastructure projects according to design specifications and timescale estimates.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems, engaging with third parties when necessary to address in-depth product issues.
• Manage systems within SLA, identifying and implementing changes to meet service level requirements.
• Advise project SMEs on preventive maintenance and configuration adjustments to improve performance.
• Execute LAN network implementations and infrastructure patching independently.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering roles.
• Expertise in two of the following: Junos, Cisco IOS, IPS/IDS (Firepower, SRX, or FortiGate), Cisco ISE, NSX-T, Load balancing (F5 or Citrix).
• Proficiency in at least two of the following: Cloud networking (AWS or Azure), Network automation, Ansible, Python, Visual Basic, or Terraform.
• Experience implementing LAN networks and infrastructure patching.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and manage costs within your scope of responsibility.
• Proven capability to resolve technical issues with timely workarounds or fixes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud networking environments.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation using Ansible, Python, or Terraform.
