Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize enterprise wireless network infrastructure.
  • Lead wireless network projects from planning through deployment and post-implementation optimization.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot wireless network performance and client connectivity issues.
  • Configure and manage Cisco wireless infrastructure and associated management platforms.
  • Perform predictive and active wireless site surveys and network validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable wireless services across enterprise environments.
  • Manage wireless authentication, authorization, and policy management solutions.
  • Analyze wireless client health and recommend performance improvements.
  • Utilize ticketing systems to track incidents, service requests, and infrastructure changes.
  • Coordinate with vendors and technical support teams to resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and implementation activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in wireless network engineering within large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience leading wireless infrastructure projects from planning through deployment and optimization.
  • Strong experience designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco wireless solutions.
  • Experience managing enterprise wireless authentication and policy management.
  • Experience with enterprise ticketing systems and vendor support processes.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience is preferred.
