Description

You will design, engineer, and validate LAN/WAN network architectures and features within lab environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and certify new code and features through rigorous testing and bug scrubs on IOS, XE, NXOS, and XR.
• Execute complex network implementations with minimal oversight or guidance.
• Develop engineering guidelines and design documentation for every certification process.
• Manage vendors, coordinate testing cycles, and evaluate Proof of Concept (PoC) results.
• Troubleshoot network issues using tools like IXIA and Wireshark.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in network engineering and design.
• Extensive experience with Cisco platforms including Catalyst, Nexus, ISRg2, and ASR1K.
• Deep knowledge of routing protocols: BGP, MP-BGP, OSPF, RIP, and MPLS.
• Hands-on experience with L2/L3 technologies: L2-VPNs, Spanning-tree, and QoS.
• Expertise in Multicast protocols: IGMPv2/3, PIM-SM, PIM-SSM, AutoRP, BSR, Static RP, RP-Anycast, and MSDP.
• Proficiency in security implementations: 802.1x, NAC, MAB, Port Security, IPSec, and DDoS mitigation.
• Practical experience with Data Center protocols: LISP, VXLAN, NV-GRE, and EVPN.
• Experience with Arista platforms (7280, 7504) and Dell Mi/o or HP 6120/6125/Moonshot families.
• Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, Simple DB, ELB, and Direct Connect.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Juniper MX, Arista, or Juniper switching/routing platforms.
• Familiarity with virtualization, server technologies, and data center power/cooling requirements.
