Description

You will define and build enterprise network architecture for mission-critical 9-1-1 environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define global enterprise network architecture and validate emerging technologies.
• Review ESiNET services to ensure interfaces meet agency requirements.
• Generate conceptual, logical, and physical network architecture test plans compliant with NENA standards.
• Participate in configuration, testing, and quality control activities on ESiNET.
• Report quality control issues to the NG9-1-1 program manager and agency representatives.

Required Skills

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a lead Engineer in a technical domain or 9-1-1 systems platforms.
• Detailed understanding of NG9-1-1 i3 VoIP standards and ability to develop configuration templates.
• Strong experience with VOIP, Standard PBX Voice, and detailed engineering methods.
• Knowledge of Oracle SBC and B2BUA configurations and reference architectures.
• Experience with Network, LAN, and WAN technologies.
• Familiarity with firewall technology, specifically Palo Alto Networks.
• Ability to generate comprehensive Test Plans.

Preferred Skills

• Subject Matter Expertise in Enterprise Integration and design of Mission Critical 9-1-1 systems.
• CCIE certification or equivalent network system integration experience.
