Description

Manage and automate the Network Detection and Response (NDR) platform to secure network infrastructure, owning the administration, visualization, and troubleshooting of the Zeek environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Automate routine Zeek administration tasks using Python or Bash scripting.
• Design and develop security dashboards to visualize network traffic and security events.
• Monitor NDR platform performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Collaborate with Network Security and Detection & Response analysts to improve the Zeek environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Security Engineer, Application Developer, or similar role.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of network protocols and network security principles.
• Experience with intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and firewalls.
• Understanding of security incident response processes and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
• Experience deploying workloads to Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments.
