Description

You will engineer, implement, and support F5 BIG-IP APM and VPN solutions for enterprise clients. You own the lifecycle from requirements gathering to production support.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical expert for F5 VPN/APM engagements, translating business needs into implementation plans.
• Design and build scalable, highly available F5 BIG-IP APM architectures including remote access, application access, and high availability models.
• Define authentication, authorization, and access control policies aligned with enterprise security standards.
• Configure and deploy F5 BIG-IP APM features, including access profiles, VPN connectivity, and endpoint inspection.
• Provide engineering support, troubleshoot complex access and performance issues, and drive root cause analysis for incidents.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in enterprise network and security engineering.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP APM and VPN solutions.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancing, and SSL/TLS.
• Solid experience with identity technologies: Active Directory, LDAP, RADIUS, SAML/SSO, and MFA integrations.
• Proven ability to independently manage implementations from requirements through production support.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in complex enterprise environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with F5 iRules (basic to intermediate) and adjacent modules (LTM, ASM, AFM).
• Familiarity with hybrid or cloud environments (Azure/AWS) and Zero Trust access models.
