Description

Own and maintain the network infrastructure for country offices and HQ, ensuring performance and resolving incidents.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and diagnose issues across switches, routers, firewalls, DHCP, and DNS.
• Handle NOC escalations, perform triage, resolve problems, or escalate to team members.
• Enhance proactive monitoring by creating automated reports for network events.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, including drawings, spreadsheets, and procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of network engineering experience in a large enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, IPSEC, GRE, DHCP, DNS, VLSM, VLANs, and STP.
• Demonstrated experience with OSPF and BGP routing protocols.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Ability to use packet capture tools like Wireshark and tcpdump for analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python) and automation engines (Ansible).
