Description

You will design, implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure and security measures in Chesterfield, VA.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network components including wireless, routing protocols, NAT, QoS, ACL, firewalls, remote access, and VOIP.
• Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN hardware, including copper and fiber infrastructure and communication circuits.
• Analyze network security to develop and deploy measures against unauthorized intrusion, modification, or loss.
• Manage internet web filters, appliance rules, and cellular mobility VPN software and hardware.
• Provide project management, documentation, and strategic input for network planning and service requests.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN management and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with VOIP implementation and support.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience managing routing, routing protocols, NAT, QoS, and ACL.
• Ability to manage firewalls and remote access configurations.
• Experience with WAN equipment installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Skills in managing web filters and VPN software/hardware.
• Knowledge of campus cabling involving copper and fiber infrastructure.
