Description

You will engineer and support core network infrastructure projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan technical projects with Infrastructure leadership to ensure network reliability and performance.
• Analyze business needs, gather requirements, and design solutions using routers, switches, and virtualization.
• Develop and document models, plans, diagrams, and procedures for engineering activities.
• Create capital expenditure (CAPEX) requests and track hardware and software order progress.
• Serve as an escalation point and work nights or weekends as needed for implementations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering within an enterprise organization.
• 5+ years of experience leading project teams or mentoring junior engineers.
• In-depth knowledge of design principles, routers, switches, virtualization, and load-balancers.
• Experience with SDN solutions, specifically Cisco ACI and VMware VNX.
• Knowledge of network security solutions including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and WAFs.
• Proven understanding of network segmentation, isolation, and encryption architectures.
• Experience standardizing and automating network configuration and deployment.
• Strong documentation skills for generating technical specifications and procedures.
