Description

Manage and optimize core Windows server technologies and network infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and migrate Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Group Policy, and LDAP services.
• Execute infrastructure projects, including data center moves and application offshoring.
• Provide Level 3 infrastructure support and resolve efficiency issues through upgrades and optimizations.
• Write scripts, templates, and utility applications to automate Windows tasks and improve functionality.
• Perform backup monitoring and remediation to ensure system stability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems and network engineering.
• Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server fundamentals and design principles.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IIS.
• Proficiency in Group Policy, Clustering, Terminal Services, and LDAP.
• Experience with Windows scripting and automation.
• Competency in Linux and general Networking.
• Ability to perform capacity planning, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with project management fundamentals.

Preferred Skills

• Willingness to perform domestic travel with overnight stays.
