Description

Network Engineer responsible for enterprise data center infrastructure, security, and hybrid cloud connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise data center switching, routing, and segmentation.
• Configure Cisco Nexus switches for Layer 2/3 networking, VLANs, vPC, and STP.
• Manage Fortinet FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls, including policies, NAT, and VPN.
• Establish hybrid connectivity between on-premises data centers and Microsoft Azure via ExpressRoute.
• Troubleshoot complex network, firewall, and cloud connectivity issues affecting critical infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking and network engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco Nexus switching platforms in data center environments.
• Deep understanding of Layer 2/3 concepts including VLANs, trunking, and segmentation.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
• Proven experience managing Fortinet FortiGate and Palo Alto firewall platforms.
• Configuration of Azure Virtual Networks and Azure ExpressRoute services.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in hybrid network environments (on-premises and Azure).
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools and infrastructure observability platforms.
