Description

You will manage and support network infrastructure for the Transportation Operations Center in Colonial Heights, VA.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Tier 1 network support requests and user connection issues.
• Configure and deploy new or replacement network hardware and communications infrastructure.
• Design extensions and connections to the campus network.
• Monitor network resources for faults, traffic anomalies, and security threats.
• Maintain architecture documentation, inventory records, and change histories.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Cisco Routing and Switching.
• VLAN Management and Network Design.
• Routing Protocols including BGP and OSPF.
• Access Control Lists (ACLs) and Subnetting.
• Authentication protocols such as Radius and TACACS.
• FMC/Firepower and Network Monitoring tools.
• Wireless Technologies, DNS, and DHCP.
• STP, VTP, and Multicast.
• Network Security, VPN, and Remote Access Technologies.
