Description

Manage and troubleshoot local and field network infrastructure to ensure connectivity and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy new or replacement network hardware and communications infrastructure.
• Design extensions and connections to the campus network.
• Monitor network resources for faults, traffic anomalies, and connection issues.
• Respond to Tier 1 network support requests and break/fix tickets.
• Maintain up-to-date architecture documentation, inventory, maintenance records, and change histories.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Network Monitoring.
• 5 years of experience with VPN and Remote Access Technologies.
• 3-5 years of experience in VLAN Management.
• 3 years of experience with Cisco Routing and Switching.
• 3 years of experience in Network Design.
• 3 years of experience with Access Control Lists and Subnetting.
• 3 years of experience with Routing Protocols.
• 3 years of experience in Network Security.
• 1-2 years of experience in Windows Workstation Troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• 5 years of experience with DNS/DHCP.
• 3 years of experience with Cisco Firepower, Firepower Threat Defense, and Firepower Management Console.
• 1 year of Linux Command Line knowledge.
