Description

Lead the migration of legacy phone systems to VoIP across multiple county offices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the installation and configuration of VoIP systems and network connections.
• Conduct pre- and post-site visits to define technical scope and identify risks.
• Execute system verification, validation, and testing to ensure full operability.
• Troubleshoot VoIP-related issues and connection problems between endpoints and distribution switches.
• Manage vendor proposals, technical documentation, and equipment inventory.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience working with VoIP applications.
• Proven experience as a technical lead on telephony or network implementation projects.
• Proficiency in SIP, H.323, RTP, and MGCP protocols.
• Hands-on experience configuring and deploying VoIP systems.
• Strong knowledge of IP routing, LAN, and WAN configurations.
• Expertise in VoIP testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with IP Networking, Linux, and Network Configuration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BroadSoft software and Yealink phones.
• Experience supporting analog phone systems.
